Ms Mac is a computer consulting company based on Apple Inc. technology. We offer everything: from helping you find the exact configuration that will meet your needs, to custom design services, training, support AND we'll help you get the hang of it all, with a smile.

We are a woman-centric company dedicated to providing NYC with excellent Macintosh computer service. Not only do we offer solutions, but we also educate our clients and empower them with the knowledge they need to feel good with today's technology.

Staff

Marsha Brown started freelancing as "Ms Mac" back in 2000. Soon she found herself unable to keep up with the demand, so she joined forces with fellow Tekserve alums, Nicole Jung and Jools Palmer.

1. What is the best way to reach Ms Mac?
The best way to reach us is by emailing us at info@msmac.net. Or you can call our office line at 212-929-2960. If we don't pick up someone will get back to you ASAP. Please keep this in mind, there are only three of us running a DIY company, we can only be in so many places at once.

2. Where are you located? Can I drop my computer off at your office?
Ms Mac Consulting does not have a central office and we currently do not offer drop-off service.

3. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check or money orders. Sorry, but we do not accept credit cards at this time. Checks should be made out to the tech assigned and payment is due on site at the time of visit.

4. What is your connection to Tekserve?
Ms Mac is an independent entity, we are not employed by Tekserve, but we are grateful for their many referrals. We love Tekserve with all of our hearts and hold them in high regard.

5. Should I back up my computer? Can you help me with that?
Absolutely. In this day and age to not have a back up copy of your data is just silly. We offer backup solutions from helping you pick out the storage device to setting up the perfect back up plan that suits your needs. Give us a call and we can get you and your data to a safe place before it's too late.

6. Do you only offer support for Apple products?
Well, as far as computers go, yes. However, we do offer support and solutions for third-party mac-compatible products for example: Microsoft Office, Adobe CS, Printers, Scanners, etc.

7. Do you guarantee your work?
There is no warranty of any kind on software services performed. All hardware warranties lie with the manufacturer of the product.
